While waiting for shinpan duty at PNKF tournament in November 2007, I asked Mrs. Anderson also waiting next to me if Mr. Dick Anderson and she had children. She answered no. She said that her students at school where she taught were her kids. I told her that her students were lucky to have a teacher like her. I am lucky because I think of you, fellow kendoists, as brothers, sisters and children.
